My husband is in hospital... :0(

Just a quick post to let you all know that my husband Garry was taken to hospital with heart problems yesterday morning... I almost lost him, as the ambulance nurse had to start his heart again... so please forgive me if I'm not on line for a while.
The doctors are giving him lots of test today and we'll find out what caused him to have heart failure yesterday morning.
Hugs,
Mon.

30th wedding anniversary..!!!

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I wrote to you, but I have been busy with other things and haven't had the chance to sit and write a new post.
Well, today is our 30th wedding anniversary.. yes! Garry and I made it to the big 30!!!!!

We'll be away for 4 days down to the Great Ocean Road, one of the most beautiful drive in Victoria's south west coast.
We'll be taking photos and will post them on my blog as soon as we come back.
On my return, after having a well deserved rest, I'll be working on a few projects I have in the back burner... one of them is the tall handsome gentleman who everyone has been waiting for to keep company to those beautiful elegant ladies you have made so far.
So keep your eyes glued to this space.. :0)

Tic-Toc's outfit for sale

Hi everyone,
Hope I gave you enough time to miss me... :0)))
I have the original Tic-Toc's outfit up for grabs.

The outfit has already been sewn and is ready to dress your own bear (mainly my Tic-Toc's pattern).
I've had many people asking where they could get these fabrics, but when I made him, I used materials I had bought 5 years ago and aren't available now.
So, in a nut shell, if you'd like to dress your own Tic-Toc with the original outfit on the cover of my pattern, I have one for sale right now.
The outfit includes: pants, jacket, hat, fob watch and set of keys.

"Tic-Toc", a new pattern for you to enjoy!!

As you can see, I have been busy creating... yes, I can't help myself... :0)))
Meet the new little guy at Monica's Attic Treasures:
Presenting "Tic-Toc",
A story book character I made up myself. He's that bear that goes around at night, when no-one sees or hears him, and sets all the clocks with the exact time. That's why he carries a fob watch and some rusty old keys that fit all the clocks. You'll also notice his nose is full of fairy dust... well, that's the kind of magic powder that makes him fly, so he can reach the tall grandfather clocks!!!
Tic-Toc is about 29cm / 11.5" tall (without his hat), made from short matted mohair and mini fur. He's fully jointed and stuffed with garnet powder and polyester stuffing.

This pattern is now ready for purchase. The price is $22.50 AUD (postage included).
I do have some small fobwatches if you'd like to add it to your order for an extra $10 AUD, but be quick, as I only have 20 of them...!
Be one of the first to get this pattern to make a little Tic-Toc of your own...!
